Space Quest 5 Cheats and Debugs

Version 0.028 of Space Quest 5 enables the user to view death messages. It should work like this: When you're dead and on the Restore/Restart/Quit screen, there's an invisible button a few centimeters below the word "Space" on the title bar. The message should change. This sneaky little feature has the reputation of making the game crash often.

Also, the same version enables you to look at the game's hotspots: that is to say, where the click events happen. To get this, press Alt+C during gameplay. It blocks out the images on the screen, and they are replaced by the areas of the hotspot colors. This image is in the classroom at the beginning of Space Quest 5. This debug option does not seems to work with the version supplied with the Space Quest Collection.
