If you're just getting over how great Brandon's soundtrack for SQ2VGA was, here's James Mulvale's portion for your free listening pleasure:
Space Quest II Remake - James Mulvale
You may have heard that James is also contributing music in an official Two Guys capacity. In fact, he wrote music for the Cluck Yegger app that's out for the iPhone. I'd say a polite golf clap is in order here.

This is practically old news at this point, but last Wednesday, The Two Guys released the first in-game screenshot from the up-coming SpaceVenture.
Well, need I say more? Look at this!
So ... there will be hallways in this game! When will the excitement end?

In case you haven't seen this on the boards, Brandon Blume -- a.k.a. MusicallyInspired, the man behind the 9 minute SQ4 metal medley -- has released the work he did for the VGA remake of Space Quest II: Vohaul's Revenge by Infamous Adventures.
For you impatient fallen space heroes, you can grab it right here: Space Quest II Remake - Soundtrack A (MediaFire) 47.7MB ZIP
Or you can do yourself a favor and read Brandon's succint explanation of why this is only a third of the full soundtrack -- not to mention how you can listen to the other two-thirds -- after the break ...

It's official. The paperwork has been signed. Ken Allen, who scored such illustrious classics as Space Quest IV in the past, is signed on to compose the soundtrack to The Two Guys' upcoming SpaceVenture game.
You can read more about how Ken became part of the project at this massive Kickstarter update. There's also a ton of other good stuff in that update, like backer rewards and convention appearances, so you should definitely check up on that.
Meanwhile, Mr. Allen has his own Kickstarter thing going on, which, if you're so inclined, you can read about after the break ...

Last week, Chris Pope was interviewed for the Guys From Andromeda podcast by the Space Quest Historian (that would be me).
Who is Chris Pope? Why is he being interviewed for a podcast he normally hosts himself? Why are you talking to yourself?
If you are asking these incredibly intriguing questions (that will quickly be forgotten with barely an electron stirred in that well-armored orb atop your shoulders), you should check out the Cliff's Notes for that interview, now posted in the SpaceQuest.net interview archive.
Or, you can just listen to the whole thing yourself.

Michael Marecek had a great idea. Michael Marecek posted his great idea on Facebook. Michael Marecek suddenly had a monster on his hands.
His idea was the SierraCon of 2014 and it's turning out huge. The Space Pope is dragging The Two Guys From Andromeda kicking and screaming to this thing, which is also being attended by Lorelei Shannon (designer of Phantasmagoria 2) and Lori & Corey Cole (designers of Quest for Glory and upcoming Hero-U). Not to mention a bunch of illustrious, infamous and ill-groomed Space Quest/SpaceVenture fans.
Check out www.thesierracon.com and get in on the Facebook event. Oh, and we've got our own discussion going about this as well. Wanna get with the cool Space Quest kids? Keep up with this forum post.

The Superfans are gearing up for what is arguably this year's big event: getting to "Hangout" with none other than The Two Guys From Andromeda themselves.
The Two Guys - Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy - will join the Space Quest Superfans for a Google+ Hangout live from the Geek Media Expo convention in Tennessee. Also present will be me (the Space Quest Historian), the SpaceVenture Intern P.C. Johnston, Virtual Broomcloset and Pledge Quest creator Jess Morrissette, and none other than everyone's favorite space pope, Chris Pope!
It will all go down this Saturday (October 27th) on the +Two Guys From Andromeda Google+ page.
Edit: The Two Guys are confirmed to appear at the Hangout at 1 pm CDT GMT -5:00. Hangout starts approximately 30 minutes earlier.
Want to get in on the fun? Check out how after the break.

After four months of hard work, we're proud to announce the release of Pledge Quest II: Noodle Shop of Horrors. You can head over to the newly-launched PledgeQuest.Net and download it now for Windows, Mac, and Linux! What begins as a sumptuous feast of noodle-y goodness quickly turns to catastrophe as our heroine Bea stumbles across a conspiracy so nefarious that it threatens the very future of the Two Guys' SpaceVenture project. What challenges await our intrepid protagonist this time around? Here's a hint: they involve clicking things on other things.
